Can I submit a Checked request without the owner's Emirates ID/passport?

Verifying the owner’s identification is mandatory to authenticate ownership of the property which makes your listing eligible for a Checked badge. Either the owner's Emirates ID or passport copy has to be uploaded to apply for a verification request. In case the owner has authorized a third party, the following steps are to be followed:

1. Notarized POA document signifying that the owner has transferred the decision-making authority to a third party on his behalf

2. Emirates ID or Passport copy of the person who has POA from the landlord/owner

The following mandatory documents are also to be uploaded in addition to the above-mentioned documents:

1. Title Deed/Affection Plan/ Oqood Certificate/Initial contract of sale/SPA (for off-plan properties only)

2. A marketing agreement, i.e. Form A or NOC

Our team will review the documents submitted and upon successful verification, the Checked badge will appear on your listing.
