Your call answer rate represents the percentage of calls answered out of the total calls you receive.
It consists of the following 3 types of call responses:
- Connected calls: The ones that get connected and recorded
- Not connected: The ones that get disconnected as the user hangs up
- Missed calls: The ones that do not get responded to
Let's assume the number of each type of calls is as follows:
Connected calls: 5
Not connected calls: 2
Missed calls: 4
In this case, your call answer rate will be 45% following this calculation: connected calls/(connected calls+not connected calls+missed calls) = 5/(5+2+4) = 45%.
