Below are  some common reasons why stories are rejected. Make sure to avoid these issues to  help improve the chances of approval:

1. Offensive or Inappropriate Content

Avoid:

  • Revealing or culturally insensitive attire
  • Intimate gestures or romantic poses
  • Depictions of violence, distress, or unsafe settings
  • References to alcohol, tobacco, or drugs
  • Offensive hand gestures or symbols

Tip: Dress in business or cultural attire and keep visuals professional.

2. Content Not Relevant to Assigned Property/Project

Stories must clearly relate to the listing or project selected in Profolio™. 

Avoid:

  • Generic or reused content
  • Motivational quotes without context
  • Unrelated visuals or slogans
     

3. Low-Quality Media

Avoid:

  • Blurry or dark images
  • Shaky videos or loud audio
  • Overuse of filters or obstructive graphics

Tip: Use well-lit, steady mobile visuals and keep branding minimal.

 

4. Use of Unauthorised or Copyrighted Content

Do not:

  • Downloaded stock images or music without obtaining the relevant licence.
  • Branding from non-affiliated companies
  • Use someone else’s intellectual property rights without obtaining necessary rights

Tip: Only use media that you or your agency has the right to publish.

 

5. Promotion of Unrelated Businesses or Activities 

Avoid:

  • Advertising salons, restaurants, e-commerce, etc.
  • Sharing discount codes or flyers not related to real estate
  • Announcements about job vacancies
  • Office environment videos aimed at recruitment
     

6. Targeting or Discrediting Others

Avoid:

  • Comparing your service to others negatively
  • Criticising agents, developers, or authorities
  • Mentioning delays or failures from other parties

 

7.  Contact Information or External Links

Avoid:

  • Adding phone numbers, email addresses, or WhatsApp links
  • Mentioning social media handles like “@agentname” or phrases like “DM me on Instagram”
  • Including website/blog URLs such as “www.agentsite.com
  • Embedding QR codes that lead outside the Bayut platform

Note: DLD QR codes directly related to the listing or project are allowed.

 

8.  Misleading or False Information

Avoid:

  • Exaggerated or unverified claims (e.g., “Only 2 units left” when not true)
  • Misstated locations, prices, or handover dates
  • Content that may confuse or mislead clients

     

9.  Potential Scam or Fraudulent Activity

Avoid:

  • Promoting listings you’re not authorized to sell
  • Fake identities or names.
  • Payment requests or claims of government endorsements
